YAHOO!!! Our 2011 2nd Annual "Walk-On-A-Thon" & Grand BBQ for InStride! Was GREAT FUN!

Walk-On-A-Thon!

On Saturday, October 8th, our Special Riders and their families "rustled up" pledges for a single lap ride around our covered arena.  Family and Friends can sponsor their rides via Riders' plege forms.  Last year, 38 riders participated.  Let's go for 100% next year! YOU CAN BE A BIG PART OF OUR RIDERS' SUCCESS!

We had loads of fun activities like a bounce house, small carnival games, sumo wrestling suits, "minute to win it" type games and MORE!  A Silent Auction were well attended, and D.J. Joseph came back to announce our riders and provided the music.

 

Grand Bar-B-Q for InStride!

On October 9th the BBQ got rolling!  We welcomed more than 400 new and old friends (even with less than perfect weather) - so happy to have our covered arena! Plan early to buy your tickets for next year - we'll sell out again! "Chefs" Bill McGinty, Jane McGinty and David Bowles put out a GREAT spread!!!  The pulled pork was especially awesome!!!  New entertainment and fun family activities and a bigger Dessert Contest made the day even more special!
